Steve Enoch

Steve was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia where his parents had just moved from Nashville, TN. He attended Christchurch School where he later served on the Board of Governors. An avid golfer, he attended the University of Miami (UM) in Florida in hopes of furthering his golf talents. Upon graduating from UM, where he earned a BBA with a major in Finance, he entered the life insurance/financial services business in Richmond with The Equitable. There he became a district manager and won many national awards for production.

Steve became a member of The Melrose Club on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina where he met the late, great Southern humorist and syndicated columnist, Lewis Grizzard. Lewis hired Steve to help him with his financial affairs. Their friendship grew and later, Steve became Vice President of Grizzard Enterprises where he handled most aspects of Grizzard's career. After Lewis' untimely death at the age of 47, Steve co-authored Don 't Fence Me In, an anecdotal biography of Lewis Grizzard, co-authored the forward of It Wasn't Always Easy, but I Sure Had Fun, and served as the Executive Producer for Son of the South... The Lewis Grizzard Story which was a made-for-TV documentary about Grizzard's life. And finally, Steve served as Executive Producer for Alimony... the Bill You Get for the Thrill You Got, the music of Lewis Grizzard.

After Lewis' death, Steve re-entered the life insurance business. Years later, SunTrust Bank (Truist) hired Steve to be their Estate Planning and Business Insurance Specialist in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, working with their high-net-worth clients in those cities. Today, Steve is the President of The Enoch Company and a Principal of Bluffview Insurance Group where he is a registered representative of Lion Street, a prestigious national network of independent firms.

Steve' s practice focuses on sophisticated life insurance transactions in the business and estate planning arenas.
